GONG District: A day of cross-border musical celebration Saturday, November 2, 2024 – Nova Gorica and Gorica, various locations

The first in a series of special events that the GONG platform, in cooperation with seven partners

Slovenia and Italy, is organizing in the year of the European Capital of Culture GO! 2025.

The all-day event will feature 9 concerts and 5 DJ performances at various locations in Nova Gorica and Gorica that GONG will echo in the common cross-border space!

GONG is a networking platform that brings together seven NGOs from the Gorica and Nova Gorica area, active in the field of concerts and cultural events. The partners of the project are Zavod GONG (Nova Gorica, SI), KUD Morgan (Nova Gorica, SI), Zavod Masovna (Nova Gorica, SI), KUD Zvočni izviriv (Nova Gorica, SI), Circolo Controtempo (Cormons, IT), Gruppo Area di Ricerca – Dobialab (Dobbia, IT) and MoreMusic Cultural Association (Monfalcone, IT).

Our long-term ambition is to make a mark in the border area, to integrate the municipalities of Gorica and Nova Gorica into a common cultural space, to accelerate the development of local music culture, and to place our conurbation on the world map of popular music destinations.
